Meaning of Disease
A condition of the body or some part or organ of the body, whose functions are disturbed or deranged. A deviation from healthy or normal condition of any of functions or disuse of body; alteration of state of body or some of its organs, interrupting or disturbing performance of vital functions, and causing or threatening pain and weakness. See Brinkoetter v Pyramid Life Ins. Co., (Mo.App.) 377 S. W.2d 560.
