Meaning of Weapon
Anything designed to be used in destroying, defeating or injuring an enemy, such as a gun or sword. Williams v City Court ofTuscon, 519 P.2d71, 21 Ariz.App. 318. In determining whether a weapon is deadly or dangerous, a court may consider the nature of the weapon, the manner of its use, the actions of the user, the intent and mind of the user and the capability of the instrument to inflict death or serious bodily harm. See State v Orlett, 44 Ohio Misc.7, 335 N.E.2d 894.
